This poster series features sunflowers of different colors: yellow, red, blue and white (more to come). The idea of coloring the flowers is to experiment with the familiar shapes and objects to give them new meanings. In this series, the flowers grow from homes and ships. This artistic choice references the fight for freedom and democracy, as sunflowers have come to become powerful symbols of Ukraine. While the posters can be appreciated for the skilful graphics, they can also be meaningful symbols of support to Ukraine and remembrance of the sacrifices which enable peaceful life in Europe.
