Translated from Finnish, ‘Tulivuoren Piirroksia’ means ‘volcano’s sketches’. This brand project combines Nordic and Ukrainian visual cultures in creating unique pieces of art and design. The art- and design works revisit some of the Nordic and Ukrainian traditional stories; build new visual links between the modern sonic and visual cultures of Ukraine and the Nordics; playfully imagine closer ties between these regions; and create a unique visual world.
